Automatic spam detection preferences

We automatically detect most of the spam sent to your email address and mark it as being suspected junk mail. This spam filtering is not always perfect, but it is continually and automatically improving itself as it learns more about the difference between good email and bad email.

You can help train the automatic spam filter by reporting email that you know to be spam.

There are a couple of preferences you can set to control how we handle suspected spam sent to your email address.

To control your spam preferences:

  1. Sign in to Hushmail and click Preferences.
  2. Under the Spam tab choose what you would like us to do with email that has been marked as spam.

By default, we'll put them in your Junk folder. You can choose to do that or Delete it permanently.
