Advanced search tips

For more precise results, try using these advanced search techniques:

  • from Rick: Find all emails from Rick. This searches for emails with "Rick" in the sender's name or email address.
  • to Alice: Locate all emails sent to Alice.
  • subject Reservations: Find all emails with "Reservations" in the subject line.
  • unflagged: Display all emails that haven’t been flagged.
  • flagged: Show all flagged emails.
  • unread: Find all emails marked as unread.
  • read: See all emails marked as read.
  • body Barbados: Search for emails with the word "Barbados" in the body text.
  • from Rick subject Reservations: Combine searches to find emails from Rick that have "Reservations" in the subject.

Note: Encrypted emails cannot be searched by their body content. Since the content is protected, it’s not accessible to the search tool. However, you can always search non-encrypted information, such as the sender, recipient, and subject line.
