Use Hushmail with Wix

To send and receive email with your Hushmail account, you need to update your DNS records in Wix. DNS records help direct your email correctly and reduce the chances your messages will end up in spam. Follow these steps to update your MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records in Wix.

Getting started

1. Sign in to your Wix account.
2. In the left panel, select Settings.
3. Scroll down to Site, domain & SEO and click on Domains.
4. To the right of your domain, click on the three dots (⋮) and select Manage DNS records.

Add 2 MX records

1. Under MX (Mail Exchange), click Edit MX Records if you have existing records or Connect a business email if you don't.
2. In the pulldown menu, select Other.
3. Click Add Another with:
   • Points to: plsmtp1.hushmail.com
4. Click Add Another, then repeat with:
   • Points to: plsmtp2.hushmail.com
5. Delete any other MX records.
6. Click Save.

Add an SPF record

1. Under TXT (Text), click Add Record with:
   • Host name: leave blank
   • Value: v=spf1 include:_spf.hushmail.com -all
   • TTL: 1 Hour
2. Click Save.

Add a DKIM record

1. Under CNAME (Aliases), click Add Record with:
   • Host name: hush._domainkey
   • Value: _dkim.hushmail.com
   • TTL: 1 Hour
2. Click Save.

Add a DMARC record

1. Under TXT (Text), click Add Record with:
   • Host Name: _DMARC
   • Value: v=DMARC1; p=quarantine; pct=100
   • TTL: 1 hour
2. Click Save.
