Schedule emails to send later

Scheduling emails can help you stay professional and organized, especially when you’re working after hours or planning ahead. This feature lets you write an email now and send it at a specific time in the future - whether it’s first thing in the morning, during office hours, or another time that works best for your patient.

Here’s how to schedule an email to send later.


How to schedule an email

  1. Sign in to your Hushmail account.
  2. Click Compose to start a new email.
  3. Write your message as usual.
  4. Instead of clicking Send, click the clock icon next to the Send button.


Choose when to send the email

Once you click the clock icon, you’ll see options to schedule your email:

  • Select the date you want the email to send.
  • Choose a time from the common options, or click the down arrow to set a specific time.
  • When everything looks good, click Send later.


Check and manage your scheduled emails

Your scheduled messages are stored in the Scheduled folder until they're sent. This folder helps you keep track of them and make any edits beforehand.

  • Open the Scheduled folder to view your messages.
  • On the right-hand side, you’ll see the date and time each message is set to send.

If you need to make changes:

  • Open the scheduled email as you would a draft.
  • Edit the message or update the scheduled time as needed.
  • Click Send later to again reschedule the time the message will be sent or save your changes.
